Elementary Education
Hello,
a bit about me:
Throughout most of my life I have lived in Chelsea, Alabama. I attended a small private school during my elementary years. During my middle school and high school years I received my education at the public city school. I graduated Chelsea High School in 2014,and from there I went to the local community college, Jefferson State. After attending Jefferson State for one year I decided to transfer to Auburn University. I am currently at Auburn University studying Elementary Education. I hope to graduate with my Bachelor's degree in spring 2018. Afterward, I plan to go into the graduate program in order to acquire my Master's degree in Elementary Education. I then hope to move back to my home town of Chelsea, Alabama and begin teaching in the local elementary school.
My Teaching Philosophy
With my past experiences with children I have discovered the importance of accumulating a set of beliefs for my future classroom. With this set of beliefs implemented into my classroom, I trust that my students will be able to be examples of success and character.
-
I believe each student possesses both the ability to learn and the talents necessary to make him successful in his academic career.
-
I believe it is the responsibility of an educator to equip her students to be successful participants in society.
-
I believe there is joy in learning and an educator should make this joy available to her students.
-
I believe every student should have the availability to create a prosperous and respectable relationship with his educator and his fellow peers.
-
I believe in the implementation of technology in classroom in order to fully equip students in the understanding and usage of technology.
-
I believe an educator must assemble a classroom in which every student feels safe and secure and free to express his or her different ideas.
-
I believe each teacher should accumulate resources and tools that will provide for success for every type of learner.
-
I believe that each student should have the opportunity to acquire an education.
-
I believe education will provide numerous opportunities for a flourishing future.
